School Introduction

New Talent Education Group encompasses three distinguished schools: Xiamen Yingcai School, Xiamen International School (XIS) and Beijing New Talent Academy (BNTA). Each provides 15-year continuous schooling (from kindergarten to high school), with students from more than 20 countries and regions and a total enrollment of more than 6,600. As such, it stands as one of China’s most influential educational brands.

The flagship school of the Group - Xiamen Yingcai School - was founded in August 1995, through the sole investment of Ms. Yang Ying, an outstanding entrepreneur. Approved by the Xiamen Municipal Government and administered by the Xiamen Municipal Education Bureau, it is a full-time, private boarding school near Jiutian Lake in Jimei Cultural and Educational District. For over 30 years, the school has adhered to a non-profit philosophy, with a cumulative investment of 1.6 billion RMB. It features a 130,000-square-meter green campus equipped with comprehensive teaching, residential, sports and arts facilities. Blending natural scenery with cultural landscapes, the campus boasts an elegant environment. Operating as a fully residential institution offering 15-year continuous schooling, it currently has approximately 4,700 students and 830 faculty and staff members.

Upholding its school motto—Truth, Diligence, Virtue and Goodness—the school centers its educational philosophy on Love and Creativity and has developed a holistic education framework of Integrating Aesthetics into the Five Domains of Education. This pioneering practice has won the First Prize in the 2022 National Teaching Achievement Award for Basic Education. Over three decades, the school has achieved remarkable educational results: it has nurtured three provincial college entrance examination (gaokao) top scorers and one municipal top scorer, with nearly 70 students admitted to Tsinghua University and Peking University, around 1,000 enrolled in renowned domestic universities, and over 180 accepted into top international institutions. Management Team

Mr.Liu Wei

President of New Talent Education Group & Executive Principal of Beijing New Talent Academy

He holds a Doctorate in History from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and once worked as a visiting scholar at Academia Sinica, Taipei. He is also a Deputy to the People's Congress of Shunyi District, Beijing.

He previously served as Assistant Principal and History Teaching Research Group Leader of the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China. Besides this, he also holds multiple social positions including Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Artificial Intelligence and Education Special Committee under the Chinese Association for Non-Government Education, Director of the Beijing Association for Non-Government Education and Director of Western Returned Scholars Association of Shunyi District, Beijing. He has won the First Prize in the National High-quality Lesson Competition hosted by The Chinese Society of Education and the First Prize in the Beijing Curriculum Design Competition.

In 2018, he was invited as a representative of the education sector to attend the Spring Festival Reception held by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, where he met with national leaders.

Ms.Sun Xiuli

Executive Principal and Senior High School Principal of Xiamen Yingcai School

She is a Director of The Chinese Society of Education, Leading Principal of Liaoning Province, member of the Provincial Career Guidance Expert Group and core member of the History Teaching Research Team of Liaoning Province.

She also works as a specially-appointed education supervisor, reviewer for characteristic ordinary senior high schools in Liaoning Province, regular supervisor for senior high schools in Dalian and member of Dalian Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

Ms. Lü Yunping

Vice Principal of Xiamen Yingcai School & Principal of the Kindergarten and Primary School Division

She is a Distinguished Chinese Teacher and Backbone Principal of Fujian Province, guest professor of Fujian Institute of Education and certified national family education instructor.

With 33 years of experience in education, she has served as Principal of the Primary School for 18 years. Adhering to the philosophy of "Nurturing love with love and striving to be the best self", she commits herself to the educational goal of "Growing happily, developing with individuality and laying a solid foundation for future success". She leads the division to pursue excellence with love and wisdom.

Mr. Zhang Ze

Vice Principal of Xiamen Yingcai School & Principal of the Junior High School Division

Senior Physics Teacher and certified career planner. He is a postgraduate student in Managerial Psychology at HKU SPACE.

He boasts advanced educational concepts and rich management experience. His career includes senior management posts at prestigious senior high schools, research and teaching administration at municipal institute of educational science, full-time education supervisor of local government, as well as Assistant Principal and Chief Supervisor of Beijing New Talents School. He is an alumnus of the 45th National Training Program for Backbone Middle School Principals organized by the Ministry of Education and the 7th Advanced Training Program for Backbone Principals of Xiamen. He has been awarded Provincial Outstanding Teacher and May 4th Youth Medal of the city.

Mr. Dou Geoff

Principal of the International Education Academy, Xiamen Yingcai School

He holds dual bachelor's degrees in Information Engineering and Computer Science and a Master's degree in Psychology. He is a US News-certified college counselor and former admissions officer for Master of Laws programs at Case Western Reserve University, USA, as well as an academic competition coach.

He formerly held the posts of Director of Student Development Center, Academic Director and College Admissions Director at Beijing New Talent Academy. He has guided students to publish papers in international journals such as *Advances in Bioscience and Biotechnology*, with many papers downloaded over 100 times. His students have gained admission to world-renowned universities, including Cornell University, Columbia University, University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins University, Duke University, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, UCL, The University of Hong Kong, National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University.

Ms. Feng Hua

Kindergarten Principal of Xiamen Yingcai School

Senior Preschool Teacher and current postgraduate student. As a CPC member, she is a National Level II Psychological Counselor, diagnostic consultant for children's school readiness and member of Shenzhen Preschool Education Society.

She formerly served as Principal of a public kindergarten in Shenzhen, Secretary of the joint Party branch of school districts and appointed education supervisor of Shenzhen Municipal Education Supervision Office. She was selected as a backbone principal under the Shenzhen Elite Development Program and has guided kindergartens to pass municipal and provincial assessments and re-evaluations.

She has published more than 10 papers including *Home-School Communication: Research on Home Visit Strategies for New Kindergarten Students*, undertaken 5 research projects such as *Research on Strategies, Implementation and Evaluation of Transition between Kindergarten and Primary School*, and compiled the internal publication *Risk Prevention, Control and Emergency Management in Kindergartens*.

Xiamen Yingcai School currently has 872 faculty members, forming a professional teaching team covering kindergarten, primary school, junior high school, senior high school and international education.The staffing breakdown is as follows: 27 teachers for Kindergarten, 132 for Primary School, 137 for Junior High School, 221 for Senior High School and 28 for the International Curriculum Center.In addition, the school has established several functional centers to support students' all-round development: 73 staff at the Arts & Sports Center, 18 at the Digital & Science Center, 7 at the Student Development Guidance Center and 10 at the Sea Wisdom Learning Center.The teaching staff boasts high academic qualifications, including 5 PhD holders and 76 postgraduates. There are 237 Key Teachers in total. We have built a modern teaching team with outstanding core teachers and a well-structured talent echelon.

the inaugural stop of the “Gu Jianfen · New School Songs National Campus Tour” was held at Xiamen Yingcai School. The renowned musician Gu Jianfen visited the beautiful Yingcai campus in person.

The high school guidance training, sponsored by the EducationUSA office of the U.S. Mission in China, the Press and Cultural Office of the U.S. Consulate General in Guangzhou, and the U.S. Department of State's Office of Cultural and Educational Programs, was conducted at our school.

June 2015

The 2015 Xiamen–Taipei Early Childhood Education Academic Symposium was held at our school, attracting over 680 participants, including experts from Taiwan and Beijing, teaching researchers, teachers and parent representatives from all districts of Xiamen.

December 2014

Xiamen Yingcai School was designated a Fujian Provincial Fine Arts Subject Base School.

March 2013

Xiamen Yingcai School signed an agreement with the Basic Education Research Center of China Academy of Art, becoming the only Experimental School for Basic Education Research of China Academy of Art in Fujian Province.

October 2011

January 2008

Led by Mr. Wei Qingjia, Xiamen Yingcai School participated in the 7th Hong Kong International Youth “Golden Bauhinia & Golden Flower Award” Music and Dance Art Competition.
