Lai Weiguo
Lai WeiguoA graduate of the Class of 2008

        He consolidated his artistic fundamentals during his schooldays, and was admitted to the Environmental Art Design program at China Academy of Art after graduation. He continued his studies in Italy and was awarded a master’s degree by the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna.
       While overseas, he worked as a research assistant at two top Italian art academies and founded the Lang Shining Cultural Exchange Association, devoting himself to promoting artistic and cultural exchanges between China and Italy. He has delivered academic lectures at numerous domestic universities and returned to his alma mater to share his life experiences. Upholding his original artistic aspiration, he fulfills his ideals through aesthetic education and cross-cultural communication.

Hu Guang
Hu GuangA graduate of the Class of 2007

       He learned vocal music from his father at an early age, and later studied under Professor Zhou Xiaoyan, a towering figure in Chinese vocal music, and renowned artistic director Professor Wei Fugen. He built a solid professional foundation at the Department of Vocal Music and Opera, Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
       After earning his bachelor’s degree, he pursued further studies in Italy. He obtained his Master of Vocal Music from the Conservatorio di Musica di Verona, and later his Doctorate in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Poland.
       He has performed across many European countries, boasting rigorous academic training and extensive international stage experience. With years of working experience in European opera houses, he has starred in more than ten Western operas and excels particularly in Italian vocal works. He once served as a soloist at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna in Italy. Currently, he is Director of the Macao Association for Humanities and Arts and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Study in Macao.

Zhang Zihong
Zhang ZihongA graduate of the Class of 2005

Zhang Zihong, a 2005 graduate, holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of York (UK, 2013). Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Information Technology, Xiamen University, as well as Deputy Director of the Department of Software Engineering, he is recognized as a Class B High-Level Talent in Fujian Province. His research primarily focuses on artificial intelligence and its applications in the energy sector. He has led two National Natural Science Foundation projects: a General Program and a Key Project under the Smart Grid Joint Fund (awarded for outstanding completion). As a key member, he participated in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's New Generation Power Battery Technology Innovation Demonstration Application Project. With 26 SCI Zone 1 and CCF Class A papers published as first and corresponding author, he also serves as an editorial board member for the authoritative international journal Pattern Recognition in the field of pattern recognition.

Yu Shengtao
Yu ShengtaoA graduate of the Class of 2012

Yu Shengtao, a 2012 graduate, holds a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2016), a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (2019), and a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering (2025). Currently serving as a technical staff member at the S Laboratory of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Quantum Science Center, he specializes in the research and development of superconducting quantum computer hardware. With long-term dedication to the design and fabrication of micro-nano optical materials and structures, he has achieved multiple innovative breakthroughs in fields such as quantum dots, nanocellulose liquid crystals, and plasmonic photothermal materials. He has published over 20 papers in international top-tier journals including Advanced Materials, Nano Letters, and ACS Nano, secured six authorized Chinese invention patents, and delivered multiple presentations at international conferences such as IEEE ECTC. Additionally, he was awarded the Intel Outstanding Student Paper Award in 2023.

Ke Zhaoxu
Ke ZhaoxuA member of the school’s first graduating class of 2000

         A member of the school’s first graduating class of 2000 and former captain of the school basketball team. He enrolled at Huaqiao University after graduation, then went to Australia for advanced studies, where he earned a Master of Accounting and was named an Outstanding Graduate.
        Now based in Sydney, he founded Ausstone Group, a stone materials enterprise with two self-owned processing factories specializing in one-stop solutions for high-end stone products. The company has undertaken projects for iconic landmarks including the Sydney Opera House and the University of Sydney, and has operated steadily for 16 years. As a founding director of the New South Wales Builders Association, he has achieved remarkable success in the construction stone industry.
       He also initiated the first grassroots Chinese basketball league in the Southern Hemisphere, bringing together overseas Chinese through his passion for the sport. He has attained outstanding achievements in both career and community pursuits.

Chen Zexu
Chen ZexuA graduate of the Class of 2007

Chen Zexu, a 2007 graduate, is currently a full-time faculty member at the Xiamen University School of Medicine and a attending physician at Xiamen University Affiliated Xiang'an Hospital. He is dedicated to research in traditional Chinese medicine, diabetes, and related metabolic complications, advocating for "treating phlegm and blood stasis together" in both clinical practice and scientific research, employing traditional Chinese herbal compound formulas to intervene in abnormal glucose and lipid metabolism. In his research, he has applied cross-disciplinary approaches such as text mining and metabolomics to the study of TCM syndrome differentiation. His findings have been published in authoritative domestic and international academic journals, including *Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine* and *Journal of Immunology Research*. As a member of the China Association of Chinese Medicine and the Fujian Provincial Association of Chinese Medicine, he has delivered lectures in countries such as Thailand and Malaysia, promoting the unique Chinese TCM culture and strategies for metabolic disease prevention and treatment to the world.

Chen Xiaolong
Chen XiaolongA graduate of the Class of 2004

          He was admitted to China University of Political Science and Law after graduation. He passed the National Judicial Examination and obtained a lawyer’s practicing certificate, and now works at Fujian Tiankai Law Firm. He also engages in the paper packaging industry.
         His spouse is also an alumnus of Xiamen Yingcai School. All five family members are school alumni, and their three children are currently studying here. He always holds his alma mater dear, strives to strengthen the bond among fellow alumni, and does his utmost to support the school’s development.
