Student Reward Policy of Xiamen Yingcai School

      " Cultivating Elites of the Era, Founding a Century-old Prestigious School" — In pursuit of nurturing students with a deep love of country and a sense of civic responsibility, inspiring students to develop holistically across the five dimensions of moral character, academic excellence, physical health, aesthetic sensibility, and practical skills, and establishing a comprehensive evaluation framework for well-rounded development, Xiamen Yingcai School has developed the Student Awards and Recognition Policy. This policy is designed to motivate students to study with dedication, strive for excellence in all areas of their growth, and aspire to become "Elegant Yingcai Individuals" —young people who pursue excellence with purpose and self-direction, carry the spirit of China and a global perspective, and have the vision and capability to shape their own lives.

I. Basic Eligibility Criteria
Student Status:​ Students must hold official enrollment status at Xiamen Yingcai School.
Ideological and Moral Character:​ Students must love the country, support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, abide by school rules and disciplines, and demonstrate integrity.
Academic Performance:​ Students must possess excellent academic results and demonstrate outstanding performance in subject knowledge mastery and academic capability.
Comprehensive Quality:​ Students must actively participate in various school activities and demonstrate a strong sense of social responsibility, innovation, and practical ability.

II. Award Categories
Admission Selection Awards:​ Outstanding Student Award (including Full Exemption, Priority Exemption, and Excellence), Excellent Student Award.
Current Student Awards:​ Zhuoya Award and Subject Competition Award.
Outstanding Graduate Award:​ Graduation Award.

III. General Review Procedure
The Academic Affairs Office, Moral Education Office, and the Division Principal conduct an initial review and public announcement.
The Division submits the announced results to the School Student Affairs Office for re-verification.
The Student Affairs Office submits the verified results to the School Administrative Meeting for deliberation and final approval.

IV. Reward Methods
(I) High School Entrance Examination (Zhongkao) Scholarship:​ Details are provided in the attached table.
(II) College Entrance Examination (Gaokao) Scholarship:​ Details are provided in the attached table.
(III) Zhuoya Award
Eligibility Requirements:​ Excellent academic performance, integrity, loyalty to Yingcai, and a Comprehensive Quality Grade of "Excellent."
Specific Reward Method:
Junior High School Division:
For Grade 6: Based on the "Junior High School Student Comprehensive Quality Advancement Management" system, ranked from high to low according to comprehensive quality scores.
For Grades 7–9: Based on the city ranking of two final exam results or the "Junior High School Student Comprehensive Quality Advancement Management" system (Students receiving the Outstanding Student Scholarship are excluded).
Senior High School Division:​ Based on the total score ranking of four semesters, sorted from high to low (Students receiving the Outstanding Student Scholarship are excluded).

 (IV) Subject Competitions
Referencing the "List of National Competition Activities for Primary and Secondary School Students" (White List) issued by the Ministry of Education, rewards will be given to students who achieve excellent results in these competitions. Specific reward schemes shall be formulated and implemented independently by each division.
Supplementary Provisions

The Admissions and Student Affairs Office is responsible for interpreting and revising these regulations.
These regulations shall take effect as of the date of issuance. If any previous relevant provisions conflict with these regulations, these regulations shall prevail.
