Chinese — Rooted in China
A clear speaking voice, neat handwriting, solid composition and a good reading habit. Lower-grade students read 50,000 characters a year and upper-grade students one million; weekly reading-strategy lessons combine whole-book reading with immersion in classical poetry and prose, alongside tiered guidance on micro-writing. Mathematics — Deepening Thinking
Tiered teaching and tiered assignments suit every pace; students learn to pose problems as readily as they solve them, moving from "being able to do it" to "being able to explain it" and making thinking visible. Extension courses in Chinese, Mathematics and English are delivered as clubs, organized by category, level and stream. Clubs such as Speech & Eloquence, Math Games, Mind Max and Oxford Reading Tree focus on subject literacy and key abilities, helping students build a solid foundation and sharpen their thinking through their interests. The courses also stretch the strong while supporting the weak, helping children at every level grow with confidence.
The Primary School offers more than 60 elective courses across four categories — arts, sports, humanities and science & technology — totaling 50 class hours over the year, organized through "assess first, then learn" and mixed-age tiering. Measure the world with your voice and let reading light up life. The instructor, Ms. Xiang Baorong, is a member of the Xiamen Recitation Association and of the teachers' recitation troupe, has won first prizes in provincial and municipal classic-recitation contests, and has guided students to repeated success in municipal storytelling and recitation competitions. With a voice that wins hearts, every child can become an explorer of sound.
(2) Drone Pilot Training Camp
Fly drones and unlock the cutting-edge technology of artificial intelligence. Mr. Ni Yijun is a certified children's programming examiner, head coach of the drone team, a national youth drone competency assessor and a competition referee, and has guided students to numerous awards in drone competitions at all levels. From piloting to creating, children get an early touch of the future.
National level: Our robotics team won First and Second Prizes at the World Finals; the "Little Diplomat" speech contest brought home a national gold award; the boys' dance troupe performed five times on CCTV and twice won National First Prize; the cheerleading team won the National Championship for eight consecutive years; works of calligraphy, lacquer painting and pottery have repeatedly won top awards in national exhibitions and reviews.
Provincial level: Our robotics team took first place in the province; the choir won Provincial First Prize five times; the dance troupe won consecutive Provincial First Prizes; the baseball and football teams respectively won the Champion and Runner-up titles of the U9 group at the Provincial International School League Cup.
Municipal level: Our students win awards frequently across more than 60 events in the four categories of arts, sports, science & technology and humanities, with outstanding results.
