The Arts and Sports Center integrates resources from physical education, fine arts, and music to establish a comprehensive arts and sports education platform, offering students a well-rounded and diverse curriculum in these fields. Through a structured system comprising foundational, exploratory, and personalized courses, the center focuses on cultivating students’ physical literacy, artistic accomplishment, aesthetic appreciation, and innovative practical abilities, thereby empowering their holistic development across moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education.
Dance and choral performances by the school art troupe have been presented on CCTV six times, and repeatedly won First Prize in national, provincial and municipal student art festivals.
Our Fine Arts Department was accredited as a **Fujian Basic Education Teaching & Research Base School** in 2015 (only 5 such schools across the province). Many students have won awards in national, provincial and municipal painting and calligraphy competitions.
In sports, Teacher Lin Ye is a national-level referee for dragon and lion dance, and has claimed two National First Prizes in Tai Chi. Numerous students have achieved outstanding results at national, provincial and municipal levels in rugby, table tennis, car model competition, ballroom dance and other events.
